Manhattan, NY – Severe Moped Crash Injures Several on Manhattan Bridge
Manhattan, NY (July 28, 2023) – The riders of several motorized vehicles were involved in a severe collision on Wednesday night, July 26. At approximately 11:30 p.m. The accident took place between at least four moped riders/bicyclists.
All of the involved parties suffered injuries, according to reports. It happened on the Manhattan Bridge bicycle path for reasons still under police investigation. Paramedics rendered aid to the injured victims at the scene before taking them to the hospital.
One of the victims was said to have sustained severe wounds in both of his legs. At this time, no one involved has been identified.
Four patients were transported to Bellevue and NYU Langone. Police in Manhattan continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
