Manhattan, NY – Six Hurt in Bus Crash on Lenox Ave near W 141st St

Manhattan, NY (October 6, 2023) – Six individuals, including two students and four adults, were taken to area hospitals in Manhattan after being hurt in a bus crash. Reports show the collision took place shortly after 7:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6. 

Multiple responders went to the crash site located on Lenox Avenue near the intersection with West 141st Street after receiving reports concerning the incident. Police, fire crews, and EMS were seen rendering aid at the scene. 

Video footage from the crash scene shows a potential fuel spill and several lanes blocked in order to allow for the presence of emergency vehicles in the area. Paramedics helped those with injuries and transported them to the hospital as necessary. 

Authorities in Manhattan continue to investigate.
