Manville, NJ – Three Injured, One Airlifted in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Finderne Avenue
Manville, NJ (August 25, 2023) – One person was airlifted to the hospital and two others suffered severe injuries in a three-car accident in Manville on Friday, August 25. Sources say the collision occurred around 1:27 p.m. for reasons still under police investigation.
Sources say a Honda Pilot, a Mercedes, and a Chevy Traverse collided at the intersection of Dukes Parkway and North Main Street near the Manville Fire Department.
All three people who suffered injuries were the only individuals inside of their vehicles at the time of the accident. Each was trapped inside their car and had to be extricated by fire crews at the scene.
All three suffered severe injuries. At this time, they have not been identified. One was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital by North Star helicopter while the other two were transported to the same hospital by ambulance.
Authorities in Manville continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
