Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in New Jersey
Walking is a widely popular method of transportation. Although most people are able to walk short distances, we are not seeing a major health push aimed at getting more people out of their homes and traveling on foot. Although we hope to make it without any issues, there are many people who lose their lives due to the actions of other motorists sharing the road. In fact, the majority of pedestrian accidents in our state are caused by human error. Although pedestrians can take various strides to ensure they are mindful of others, they cannot guarantee that drivers will take the same proactive approach to protect them.
Losing a loved one under any circumstances comes with devastating mental and emotional pain and suffering for surviving relatives. In many instances, families are forced to pay tens of thousands of dollars on funeral expenses while dealing with a plethora of financial burdens moving forward.
