Mercer County, NJ – Dennis Cox Loses Life in Semi-Truck Crash on I-295 near Creek Rd

Mount Laurel, NJ (Mount Laurel, NJ (November 13, 2023) – A man lost his life after a serious traffic collision involving a semi-truck on an interstate in Mount Laurel. Reports show the wreck happened just before 8:30 a.m. 

Preliminary reports state the wreck occurred on Interstate 295 when a jack-knifed tractor-trailer and two other vehicles collided near Creek Road. Authorities say a van the victim was operating struck a pickup truck, forcing the van off of the road where it overturned. 

While the van was leaving the roadway, it was struck by the tractor-trailer. Police in Mount Laurel are working to determine the cause of the accident at this time. 

The roadway was blocked for an extended time period while crews worked at the crash scene, forcing local drivers to use alternate routes. 

Police in Mount Laurel continue to investigate.
