Mexico, NY (October 18, 2019) – A buggy accident on New York Route 3 leaves two people seriously injured.
On October 18th, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on State Route 3. According to reports, 40-year-old William Twombly was traveling north along NY-3 when he failed to yield the right-of-way to a northbound buggy. As a result, Twombly’s vehicle collided with the buggy.
The two occupants of the buggy, Anna and Andy Miller, both 44-years-old, were ejected from their buggy. Anna was critically injured in the incident and transported to Upstate University Hospital for treatment. Andy Miller was seriously injured and transported to Upstate University Hospital as well.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
