Middlesex, NJ – Kenneth Buratti Killed While Working on Garbage Truck on S. Raritan Ave

Middlesex, NJ (February 09, 2022) – The owner of a trash collection company on South Raritan Avenue was killed while working on a company truck on Wednesday, February 9th.

At about 8:30 a.m., 67-year-old Kenneth Buratti, a resident of Piscataway was pinned by the hydraulic arm of a garbage collection truck.  

An employee at Bridgewater Disposal called 911 to report a machinery accident,

Buratti was performing maintenance on a truck when the accident occurred. He died at the scene.

Representatives from the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office and the U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration are conducting an investigation.
