Monmouth County, NJ – Lauren Hewski Killed in Crash on Laird Rd
Monmouth County, NJ (May 15, 2023) –A teenager who was set to graduate from high school tragically lost her life in a fatal traffic accident on Thursday afternoon, May 11. The incident occurred in Colts Neck at around 12:30 p.m.
Hewski was identified as the victim of a fatal collision that happened on Laird Road. She was a passenger in a Jeep Cherokee that overturned west of Longbridge Road.
The 17-year-old driver was transported to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries. Responders worked at the crash scene for an extended period of time in an effort to help those involved and clear the debris from the roadway.
Authorities are working to determine how the accident occurred.
