Monroe, NJ – Bicyclist Injured in Accident on Fries Mill Rd (Rte 655)NY/NJ Legal News
Monroe, NJ (June 11, 2020) – A bicyclist was left critically injured after a collision on Wednesday morning. Just after 7 a.m., on June 10, emergency crews responded to the scene of an auto accident on Fries Mill Road.
Reports from police show that a 76-year-old man was traveling north on Fries Mill Road in a Ford van when he struck a 24-year-old bicyclist as he passed through the intersection with Glassboro Cross Keys Road.
The bicyclist suffered major injuries in the accident. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital for treatment of traumatic head injuries. The driver of the van suffered minor chest injuries and was transported to Jefferson Washington Township Hospital for evaluation. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
