Monroe, NJ – Richard Reddie Killed in Auto Collision on Fries Mill Road near Rt 322
Monroe, NJ (September 7, 2023) – One person lost his life in a traffic accident that occurred in Monroe on the morning of Thursday, September 7. At around 7:45 a.m., responders were dispatched to the wreck site on Fries Mill Road.
Sources say the incident occurred on Fries Mill Road near Route 322 when a pickup truck rear-ended a dump truck, sending the dump truck into the rear-end of an SUV. The SUV then struck the rear of another vehicle, according to reports.
An 80-year-old individual identified as Richard Reddie lost his life in the collision. Police in Monroe continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident. No other details have been reported at this time. The driver of the SUV suffered injuries in the crash, sources said. Paramedics rendered aid at the scene and transported the injured victim to the hospital as needed.
