Morris County, NJ (May 18, 2021) – One woman has lost her life following a train accident in Morris County early Monday morning. At approximately 4:40 a.m., on May 16, emergency crews were notified that an accident took place on Kahn Road.

Reports from authorities show that 61-year-old Jane B. Siegel, of Morristown, was walking on Kahn Road when she was struck by Morris & Essex Line train 6602 between the Convent Station and Morristown.

Siegel sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
