Morris Township, N.J. – Two- Car Accident Leads to Serious Injuries on Route 24NY/NJ Legal News
Morris Township, N.J. (August 15, 2019) – Route 24 was closed for hours after a vehicle accident occurred and left at least one person seriously injured, according to authorities. The New Jersey vehicle accident occurred on Wednesday, around 11:21 a.m., on Route 24 near mile marker 1.2, which is roughly a mile east of where Route 24 splits into Route 287, according to Lt. Theodore Schafer.
Police did not release many details regarding this accident at the time of this posting. It is known that at least one person involved in the accident suffered “extremely serious” injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The roadway was closed from about 11:21 a.m. until after 2:30 p.m. for clean up efforts and investigations. Police are still investigating the accident as of this article’s posting.
