Despite the state’s numerous safety measures and regulations intended to increase pedestrian safety and awareness, such as sidewalks, crosswalks, and walking paths and bridges, pedestrians are still hit by motor vehicles every single day. These accidents can be debilitating. Common injuries include things like broken bones, brain damage, and internal bleeding.
The injuries endured by a pedestrian can permanently impact the rest of their life. Due to this, injured pedestrians most likely have grounds to seek financial compensation for their injuries, provided that the accident was the result of driver negligence.
