Truck Accidents in New Jersey

Netcong, NJ - Rt 46 Closed Down Following Fatal Tractor-Trailer Accident

In New Jersey, smaller vehicles and tractor-trailers share the roadways daily. Being involved in a collision with one of these enormous vehicles, however, is very different from a standard car accident. A collision with even the biggest passenger vehicle, such as an SUV, can end with serious or even lethal injuries. The immense weight and size of a tractor-trailer, coupled with untrained or fatigued drivers, can easily result in a devastating accident.

It is fair for victims to think their insurance company will take care of them in their hour of need, and why not? After all, you resolutely make your monthly payments and make sure that you keep your end of the deal. You, mistakenly, thought that, if you ever required financial help due to some kind of accident, they would step in and do their job.

Sadly, this is not always the case. You need to bear in mind that insurance companies are for-profit companies and giving you a bunch of money, whether you are entitled to it or not, is not in the best interest of their net income. Their goal is to turn a profit and the equation they use to do that is a simple one: Accumulate as much money as possible via premiums, and disburse as little as possible in claims.
