New Jersey Auto Accidents
The state of New Jersey is no stranger to auto collisions. Over 100,000 traffic accidents are reported per year in the Garden State. Unfortunately, tens of thousands of people sustain injuries in these wrecks, and thousands lose their lives yearly. The causes of these collisions often vary; however, the leading cause of car crashes in New Jersey and throughout the nation is currently driver negligence.
Driver negligence can be displayed in different ways. Some drivers choose to look at their cell phones, text and call while behind the wheel, which is basically equal to driving blindfolded. This is extremely dangerous and puts everyone involved at risk for severe injuries or even fatalities. Speeding is another dangerous form of driver negligence. Some drivers may be running late or in a hurry, trying to get to their destination as fast as possible. Though speeding may seem like an efficient means of cutting down travel times, it is extremely hazardous and can end up seriously hurting drivers and passengers alike.
No matter the type of negligence, this type of behavior almost always leads to serious auto accidents that drastically alter the lives of involved parties.
