Bus Accidents in New Jersey
Millions of people across the United States ride buses to get to school, work, and other activities every day. For many residents of New Jersey, the bus is their main or only method of transportation. Given the number of buses that travel our roadways, some accidents are unavoidable.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration published that an estimated 500 people die every year in bus accidents nationwide while hundreds more are injured daily.
Our New Jersey personal injury attorneys understand that bus accidents have both immediate and long-range consequences. Victims incur large medical bills, experience pain and suffering, and many have to take extended time away from work to heal from their injuries. Severe or catastrophic injuries leave victims facing both reduced earning capacity and reduced quality of life.
Pedestrians and passengers are almost never at fault for a bus accident and, therefore, almost certainly entitled to financial compensation for their damages.
