Newark, NJ – One Injured in Traffic Accident on Prince Street near Court Street

Newark, NJ (October 11, 2023) – At around 6:45 a.m., on the morning of Wednesday, October 11, emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a collision in Newark. The incident occurred on Prince Street between two vehicles. 

According to reports, one vehicle struck another and caused it to overturn. The driver who caused the crash fled the scene without stopping to render aid or wait for authorities to arrive. 

A woman who was present in the vehicle that flipped over sustained injuries in the accident. Due to the force of the impact, she struck two parked cars and became trapped inside her vehicle. 

She was treated by paramedics and transported to the hospital for further care. Her name has not been reported at this time. 

Authorities in Newark continue to investigate the details of the accident.
