Newark, NJ (June 17, 2021) – An auto accident in Newark’s Ironbound section ended in injuries. At around 1 a.m., on June 15, emergency crews were notified that an accident took place on Market Street.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between vehicles occurred in the vicinity of 487 Market Street during the early morning hours. The incident left at least one of the involved vehicles with moderate damage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped inside their vehicle. The victim was subsequently transported to University Hospital for further care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
