North Bergen, NJ (August 03, 2022) – On Wednesday, August 3rd, officers from the North Bergen Police Department responded to reports of an injury crash in the area of Bulls Ferry Road and River Road at about 2:00 a.m. in North Bergen.

Upon their arrival, police discovered a two-vehicle that left several people with injuries.

An investigation by the North Bergen Police Department and the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit determined that a 2020 Honda Accord was heading southbound along River Road when it collided with an oncoming 2015 Mercedes Benz CLA as it turned onto Bulls Ferry Road.

The driver of the Mercedes, a 31-year-old woman from North Bergen, and the passenger from the Honda, a 21-year-old woman, also from North Bergen, both sustained injuries during the impact.

Both were taken to Palisades Medical Center by Emergency Medical Services. From there they were transferred to Hackensack University Hospital and are currently listed in critical condition.

The driver of the Honda, a 22-year-old man from Jersey City, was also injured in the incident.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Vehicle Crashes in New Jersey

North Bergen, NJ - Prosecutor Investigating Crash That Left Two Critical at River Rd and Bulls Ferry Rd

When two or more vehicles collide, there are usually several victims that endure serious physical injuries and damage to their vehicles. If you were following the rules of the road during a multi-vehicle crash, then you will not be liable for damages. This means you will most likely be entitled to collect financial compensation for your losses from your insurance provider and the negligent driver.

A publication issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration states that, since 2015, the United States has seen an increase of more than 11% in auto accidents. As the nation’s population grows unchecked, the number of new, inexperienced, rage-fueled, irresponsible, oblivious, and reckless drivers on the road grows right along with it. Our congested roadways are just one of the many reasons for the state’s increased rate of vehicle crashes.

Our firm has fought vigorously on behalf of their injured clients to make sure their legal rights are guarded after being harmed in an avoidable accident within the state.
