North Bergen, NJ (March 21, 2022) – The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the North Bergen Police Department were called to investigate a car accident on Kennedy Boulevard that left the driver and passenger of the striking vehicle in serious condition on Sunday, March 20th.
At about 8:00 a.m., the North Bergen Police Department responded to the scene at the intersection of 26th Street and Kennedy Boulevard for reports of a traffic collision.
Responding officials discovered the occupants of a Honda Accord, a 19-year-old man from Union City and a 15-year-old girl, had endured serious injuries. Both were taken by ambulance to Jersey City Medical Center for medical care.
An investigation by the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit determined that the Accord was driving northbound along Kennedy Boulevard when the driver hit several parked vehicles between 18th Street and 26th Street before finally crashing into a telephone pole.
