North Caldwell, NJ – Car Drives off Hilltop Drive into House, Injures Two
North Caldwell, NJ (January 4, 2023) – Two people were left with injuries after a vehicle crashed into a house in North Caldwell on New Year’s day. Just after midnight, a vehicle drove over an embankment on Hilltop Drive, fell 21 feet, and landed on a house.
The vehicle was being approached by police when it attempted to flee and lost control. The driver attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended and caught by authorities. A female passenger and the driver were both injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No one in the house was hurt. Police continue to investigate the details of the accident.
