Bus Accidents in New Jersey
Several million people across the country ride buses to get to work, school, and other daily activities. For many New Jersey residents, the bus is their main or only method of transportation. When you take into account the number of buses that travel the state’s roadways, accidents are unavoidable.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said that an estimated 500 victims die each year in bus accidents in the United States, while hundreds more are injured every day.
Our New Jersey bus accident lawyers know that bus accidents have both immediate repercussions, and long-term repercussions as well. Victims accumulate huge medical bills, withstand immense pain and suffering, and may have to take time off of work to heal from their injuries. Severe or catastrophic injuries leave victims to cope with both a diminished earning capacity and a decreased quality of life.
Passengers and pedestrians are rarely ever at fault for a bus accident and, therefore, almost certainly entitled to monetary compensation for their damages.
