Ocean City, NJ – John Andrews Killed in Crash on Bay Ave near 9th StNY/NJ Legal News
Ocean City, NJ (June 23, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Ocean City area claimed one person’s life. At around 6:10 p.m., on June 22, the Ocean City Police were requested at the scene of a crash on 9th Street.
Reports from authorities show that a 48-year-old man was driving a 2005 Mercury Sable at the intersection of 9th Street and Bay Avenue when his vehicle was struck by a 2018 Jeep Wrangler, which was driving by a 33-year-old.
A passenger in the Sable, identified as 66-year-old John Andrews, was severely injured. He was rushed to Shore Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the Sable was transported to Atlantic City Medical Center for care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
