Weymouth Township, NJ (August 26, 2026) – A Galloway man died Monday evening, August 24, after his motorcycle collided head-on with a pickup truck on Route 50 in Atlantic County.
According to the New Jersey State Police, the rider was headed southbound when a Chevrolet pickup turned left from the northbound lane into the parking lot of a local liquor store, directly into his path. He was thrown from his motorcycle on impact.
Marsh died as a result of his injuries. No other injuries were reported in the accident.
The circumstances that led to the wreck are still being reviewed.
Our thoughts are with the motorcyclist's family during this incredibly difficult time.

Under New Jersey law, a wrongful death claim requires evidence that shows that another party's negligence led to the death, along with proof of the financial and personal losses left behind. Evidence can include statements from nearby businesses, vehicle data, roadway markings, and physical evidence that needs to be documented before it is repaired or discarded.
Families pursuing these claims usually face funeral and burial costs, lost income the deceased would have provided, and the loss of guidance, companionship, and support going forward. New Jersey law allows a personal representative to seek compensation for these losses on behalf of surviving family members.
Much of this evidence disappears quickly, so many victims seek the guidance of a wrongful death lawyer to make sure all this evidence is gathered early. A lawyer can send preservation letters to prevent vehicles from being repaired or destroyed, request 911 and dispatch records, and gather statements from witnesses before memories fade.
