One driver was transported by Paramus EMS to Hackensack University Medical Center Main Campus in non-life-threatening condition. Two vehicles were towed from the scene.

Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Negligence-Based Accidents in New Jersey

Paramus, NJ - Unmarked Police Vehicle Involved in Injury Crash on W. Grove St

If a negligent driver caused your New Jersey car accident, you understandably have a few questions regarding your rights. You deserve reliable answers from a reputable personal injury lawyer who can provide practical insights that apply to your case.

Negligent drivers are the number one source of injury-causing car accidents in New Jersey. Whether a driver is texting, intoxicated, speeding, or just not following driving laws, their complete disinterest in the safety of those around them often results in avoidable accidents. Unfortunately, negligent driving occurs so frequently, the state has crafted laws that pertain specifically to the offense.

If the driver who caused the accident is found to have acted negligently or unlawfully, then a jury’s only job will be to determine 1) if that breach was the cause of your accident and 2) how much financial compensation is needed to fully compensate you for your damages.

Injured victims are entitled to collect compensation for their:

  • Medical treatments
  • Permanent injuries
  • Restrictions/Disabilities
  • Pain/Suffering
  • Lost wages/Lost benefits
  • Vehicle replacement/Vehicle repairs
  • Spousal claim damages
