Paterson, NJ – Justin Moyett Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Rt 80 near milepost 58.7
Paterson, NJ (August 2, 2023) – A man from Passaic County lost his life in a motorcycle accident that occurred on an interstate in Paterson. The victim was identified as 27-year-old Justin Moyett of Little Falls.
Moyett was traveling on Interstate 80 near milepost 58.7 when he was involved in a motorcycle crash that caused him to be ejected from his bike. He was then struck by a passing vehicle and suffered fatal injuries.
The driver of the vehicle sustained no injuries in the accident. Three left lanes of Interstate 80 were blocked for approximately three hours while crews worked in the area. Major traffic congestion resulted due to the lane closures.
Police in Paterson continue to investigate the details of the accident.
