New Jersey Auto Collisions

Car accidents can happen for a plethora of different reasons. In the United States, over 6 million auto collisions are reported yearly that cause injuries to more than 3 million individuals and take the lives of tens of thousands. These wrecks happen under countless circumstances; however, the main reason is often negligent driving. Intoxication, speeding, distraction, and fatigue are the four most commonly seen types of driver negligence displayed by drivers in America. Driver distraction causes more than 400,000 vehicle collisions yearly, while fatigue causes approximately 100,000 crashes per year. Additionally, 11,000 people end up losing their lives yearly due to speeding, and, intoxicated driving is behind over 30% of the national accident fatality rate.

In New Jersey alone, hundreds of thousands of auto collisions happen each year that injure tens of thousands of people and take the lives of hundreds of individuals. The main cause of New Jersey auto collisions is driver distraction, followed by speeding and intoxication.
