Perth Amboy, NJ (June 3, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with injuries following a house fire in Perth Amboy early Wednesday morning. At approximately 4:45 a.m., on June 2, emergency crews were notified that a fire took place on Brace Avenue.
Reports from authorities indicate that a two-and-a-half-story home sustained severe damage on the top floor and the roof after a fire broke out in the home, which is located between Amboy Avenue and Cornell Street. The fire caused the roof to partially collapse into the structure.
One person was injured as a result of the incident. The victim was rushed to a local hospital where they were rendered emergency medical treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
