Plumstead, NJ – Woman Loses Life in Two-Car Crash on Rt 539 near Longswamp RdNY/NJ Legal News
Plumstead, NJ (May 18, 2023) – A woman lost her life in a two-car accident in Plumstead. Police said the accident occurred on the evening of Friday, May 19.
At around 5:45 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the incident on Route 539 near Longswamp Road. A man from Princeton, age 40, was headed south on Route 539 when he was involved in a crash with the woman’s vehicle. The incident occurred when she tried to turn onto Route 539 from Longswamp Road.
Authorities reported that the man was sent to the hospital with injuries while the woman lost her life as a result of her injuries at a separate hospital.
No passengers were present in either vehicle, reports said. Authorities are working to find the family of the deceased woman.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
