Queens, NY – Auto Collision on Van Wyck Expwy near Jewel Ave Ends in Injuries
Queens, NY (March 10, 2023) – At approximately 7:20 p.m. on March 10, a car crash happened in Queens that required an emergency dispatch. Sources report the wreck took place on the Van Wyck Expressway for reasons still being determined.
Local news sources say the accident happened near Jewel Avenue on Interstate 678/the Van Wyck Expressway. An unknown number of cars crashed and caused injuries.
Medics treated those who were hurt at the scene and transported them to local hospitals by ambulance. Local police are currently investigating the circumstances of the accident.
Traffic was stopped back to the Jackie Robinson Parkway while emergency responders worked in the area.
