Queens, NY (January 10, 2020) – On January 6th, just before 11 p.m., authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Jamaica Avenue.
Reports indicate that a pedestrian was attempting to cross Jamaica Avenue near the intersection of 168th Street when they were struck by a black four-door sedan.
The vehicle fled the scene of the incident without stopping to render aid.
The pedestrian was injured and transported to a local area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
