Queens, NY – Van Wyck Expwy Scene of Injury Wreck near Hillside Ave
Queens, NY (April 4, 2023) – On the afternoon of April 4, a car crash happened in Queens that required an emergency dispatch. Shortly before 4:00 p.m., emergency responders went to the scene on the Van Wyck Expressway.
When they arrived at the scene, located near Hillside Avenue/Exit 6, police and paramedics found vehicles that had been involved in a crash and injured victims. Those with injuries were rendered aid by emergency medical personnel and transported to local hospitals.
Currently, the extent of the injuries suffered in the collision has not been reported. The roadway was blocked while emergency responders worked in the area, and traffic was stopped back to College Point Boulevard.
