Ridgefield Park, NJ (December 16, 2022) – On the evening of Friday, December 16, a serious vehicle accident occurred in the Ridgefield Park region.
The automobile accident on Interstate 80 was reported to emergency dispatchers at around 9:20 p.m.
Police, paramedics, and firemen were called to the area to assist and investigate. The collision occurred in the southbound lanes of Interstate 80 at the New Jersey Turnpike Split.
One left lane was restricted while workmen performed maintenance in the area. During the time that the accident scene was occupied by rescuers, the police advised nearby motorists to utilize other routes.
