Robbinsville, NJ – Man Dies in Construction Accident at Hindu Temple on N. Main St

Robbinsville, NJ (September 26, 2022) – On Friday, September 23rd, a man died during a construction accident at a Hindu temple in Robbinsville. The Robbinsville mandir, which offers tours to visitors, is renowned for its hand-crafted, intricate details, mosaic floors, and marble walls.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was a 57-year-old Hillside resident. He was reportedly employed by Flats and Curbs, a subcontractor on the site

According to sources, local police were dispatched at about 3:40 p.m. to the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir temple on North Main Street for reports of an accident where curbing was being installed on the rear of the property.

The worker was pronounced at the scene. All officials would say was that “a construction accident occurred” and refused to divulge any additional details.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim at this time.

Job Site Accidents in New Jersey

Robbinsville, NJ - Man Dies in Construction Accident at Hindu Temple on N. Main St

After being injured at a job site in New Jersey, you have two possible claims:

  • A workers’ compensation claim, which is filed for workers’ compensation insurance benefits.
  • A third-party claim, which is filed against people or companies besides your employer who may be liable for your injury

For example, if you are hurt using a piece of equipment at work, you have a valid claim for workers’ compensation benefits. You may, however, also have a valid claim against the equipment manufacturer for making a dangerous product or a product lacking sufficient safety protections/warnings.

In almost all cases, the workers’ compensation insurance representative and your employer will do everything in their power to dissuade you from working with a lawyer. They will expect you to see a physician of their choosing and do their best to seem accommodating.

Sadly, behind the scenes, they are working hard to limit their liability, and, by extension, limiting the financial compensation available for damages sustained in your workplace accident.
