Rockaway, NJ – Oddfrid Tokle Dies in House Fire on Whippoorwill Ln
Rockaway, NJ (April 18, 2022) – A woman died in a house fire in Rockaway Township on Monday, April 18th.
The fire broke out at about 7”40 a.m. Five of the home’s occupants were able to escape as heavy flames quickly tore through the two-story house on Whippoorwill ultimately causing the structure to collapse.
98-year-old Oddfrid Tokle died in the fire. Her exact cause of death has not been announced.
The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said the fire is still under investigation.
