Selden, NY – Preston Pavlo Killed in Collision With Tow Truck on CR-83NY/NJ Legal News
Selden, NY (August 15, 2022) – Suffolk County detectives were called to investigate a two-vehicle collision that killed an elderly man on Tuesday, August 9th in Coram.
Reports show that 83-year-old Preston Pavlo, a resident of Mount Sinai, was driving southbound on County Road 83 in a 2020 Nissan Altima when he collided with an unoccupied tow truck in the lefthand lane in the area of Mooney Pond Road at about 7:30 p.m.
Pavlo was pronounced at the scene by the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
Both vehicles were subjected to safety checks.
