Somers, NJ – Junior Polanco Brito Killed in Fatal Crash on Rt 100
Somers, NJ (October 31, 2023) – State police say a driver in New Jersey lost his life and a teenager suffered critical injuries in a collision in Somers on Monday, October 30.
Responders were dispatched to the scene of the incident to render aid shortly after it happened on Route 100. Junior Polanco Brito, a Lyft driver, lost his ilfe in the accident. He was traveling on Route 100 in the southbound lanes when he was involved in a crash with a sanitation truck headed south.
A 17-year-old passenger present in Brito’s vehicle suffered critical injuries in the crash. They were taken to Westchester Medical Center in order to receive treatment.
