South Amboy, NJ (April 19, 2024) – A pedestrian lost their life in a fatal traffic accident in South Amboy on Wednesday afternoon, April 17. The individual was struck by a vehicle at around 4:15 p.m. on South Broadway, State Police said. The roadway was closed while emergency workers were present in the area, forcing local motorists to use other routes. Police are still investigating the circumstances of the wreck.
