South Harrison, NJ (October 26, 2021) – A woman was killed when two vehicles collided at an intersection on Saturday, October 23rd.

57-year-old Susan L. Derushi-McParlan, a resident of Newport, was driving an SUV westbound on Monroeville Road in South Harrison at about 2:00 p.m. when her vehicle collided with an SUV, driven by a 37-year-old man from Salem traveling southbound on Commissioners Road. 

Derushi-McParlan was taken by ambulance to Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill where she died due to the severity of her injuries.

An investigation showed that the man, who sustained injuries to his lower leg, failed to stop at a stop sign.
