Stafford Twp, NJ (July 17, 2023) – A Stafford Township police officer was on his way to assist at the scene of a collision when he was involved in a traffic accident with injuries. The incident occurred at around 7:20 p.m. when the officer, who was in a marked patrol car, was in a collision with a Jeep Grand Cherokee. 

As a result of the collision, a rear-seat passenger inside the Jeep sustained severe injuries. Three other passengers were injured, however, their injuries were reported as non-life-threatening. The police officer suffered minor injuries in the accident. 

At this time, the condition of the Jeep’s driver has not been reported. Southbound traffic on the Parkway was backed up for over an hour due to the wreck.
