Staten Island, NY (April 3, 2023) – On the evening of April 3, an injury accident was reported to officials in Staten Island. Police and EMTs went to the scene shortly after it happened to help those involved.
Sources say the crash occurred on Interstate 278 near South Avenue. At least one person was hurt in the crash, however, the extent of their injuries has not been reported.
Traffic was delayed back to Victory Boulevard while emergency crews worked to help those with injuries and clear the roadway.
Police in Staten Island continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
