Staten Island, NY – Injuries Result from Crash on Staten Island Expwy near Bradley Ave

Staten Island, NY (February 8, 2024) – A traffic accident with injuries was reported to police in Staten Island on Tuesday morning, February 7. 

At around 9:26 a.m., the wreck occurred on the Staten Island Expressway near Bradley Avenue. The incident happened in the middle lane of the side headed toward New Jersey, multiple sources said. EMS took two injured victims to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton in order to be evaluated and treated accordingly. Police asked local drivers to steer clear of the area while emergency responders worked to help at the scene. All westbound lanes were blocked for approximately an hour, causing significant delays in traffic. Additionally, at least one individual had to be extricated from their vehicle due to the crash.
