Staten Island, NY (May 28, 2020) – A pedestrian accident on Wednesday evening left one person injured.
At around 1:20 p.m., on May 27, the New York Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 1400 block of Castleton Avenue.
Reports show that a pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway, in a designated crossing area, when they were struck by a vehicle.
The victim suffered injuries in the accident and was transported via EMS to a local hospital for treatment.
At this time, police are investigating.
