Staten Island, NY – Three Hurt in MTA Bus Crash on Verrazano Narrows Brdg

Staten Island, NY (May 1, 2024) – Police and EMTs went to the scene of a serious traffic accident in Staten Island on May 1.

 An MTA bus and a van were involved in a collision on the upper level of the Verrazano Bridge. Paramedics worked at the scene to help those with injuries and loaded seriously injured individuals into ambulances. Those involved have not presently been identified. Road blockages occurred in the area while emergency responders worked to clear the wreckage from the roadway and help injured victims. Police in Staten Island continue to investigate.
