Sussex County, NJ (June 29, 2021) – Authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident and Lafayette Township sent two people to area hospitals with injuries early Sunday morning.

At around one a.m., on June 27, the New Jersey State Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Beaver Run Road.

Reports provided by the police show that an off-duty New Jersey state police trooper was utilizing an all-terrain vehicle on Beaver Run Road, with a second person, when they became involved in an accident.

The two riders sustained injuries in the accident. Both victims were transported to Morristown Medical Center for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the New Jersey State Police.
