Tabernacle, NJ (June 28, 2023) – A fatal truck accident happened in Tabernacle, Burlington County, on Monday morning, June 26. Shortly before 9:00 a.m., Rafael C. Salinas was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer while he was driving his own pickup truck. 

The incident happened on Route 206 when Salinas was headed south in his pickup truck. He was attempting to turn left when the semi-truck struck his vehicle head-on. Salinas’ truck was pushed back across the double-yellow line into the southbound lanes, where a third truck struck his vehicle.

Salinas was pronounced deceased at the crash scene near milepost 15.4, police said. 

Authorities in Tabernacle continue to investigate.
