Teaneck, NJ – Major Six-Vehicle Crash Reported on Route 4
Teaneck, NJ (April 8, 2024) – A major motor vehicle accident was reported on Saturday morning, sending multiple victims to area hospitals with injuries. The accident occurred at around 9:45 a.m. on April 6.
According to official reports, a pedestrian attempted to cross Route 4 during the morning hours. As the woman attempted to cross the westbound side of the road, a motor vehicle accident ensued. A total of six vehicles collided on the roadway, causing severe delays throughout the area. Two people involved in the accident were injured. One of the victims was transported by Bergen Hatzalah to Hackensack University Medical Center for emergency medical treatment. The second victim was transported by Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Holy Name for medical care. At this time, the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
