Teaneck, NJ – Two Killed in DUI Collision on Teaneck Rd
Teaneck, NJ (October 23, 2023) – Two men lost their lives in an accident in Teaneck that was reportedly caused by a drunk driver. Responders say the collision occurred just after 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21.
The incident occurred when an individual identified as 32-year-old Teddy Mejia was traveling along Teaneck Road just before he struck a tree. Mejia survived with injuries, however, two passengers present inside the vehicle ended up losing their lives.
Police believe Mejia may have been intoxicated at the time of the collision. They continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
At this time, the deceased victims have not been identified.
