New Jersey Auto Accidents

Teaneck, NJ - Two People Hurt in Accident on Cedar Lane near Lincoln Pl

Car crashes happen daily in the state of New Jersey. Every year, countless individuals suffer injuries in these accidents. Over 100,000 car crashes are reported per year in New Jersey Throughout the country, over 6 million traffic collisions are reported annually. An alarming fact about these accidents is that the majority of them happen because of negligent driving. Car problems and inclement weather do contribute to some accidents, but drivers who act recklessly, carelessly, or negligently while behind the wheel are the ones who cause over 90% of the reported car accidents in the United States.

Negligent driving accidents are usually more severe than other types of crashes. In one recent year, more than 11,000 individuals lost their lives in auto collisions caused by speeding. When drivers travel at unsafe speeds, there is less time to react, and if a collision does occur, the impact may be much more forceful, causing more devastating damage than if they had been traveling at a slower speed.
