Teen Seriously Hurt in Crash on Wrangleboro Rd in Galloway, NJ

Galloway, NJ (August 4, 2026) – A teen was seriously injured on Sunday night, August 2, after being struck by a vehicle near Wrangleboro Road and Navesink Drive in Galloway Township.

The Galloway Township Police Department responded to the area at approximately 8:57 p.m. after receiving a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. When they arrived, they found the 17-year-old in the roadway with serious injuries.

Preliminary investigation stated that a 40-year-old Atlantic City man was driving northbound on Wrangleboro Road and navigating a curve near Navesink Drive when his vehicle struck the teen, who was crossing in a marked crosswalk.

The teen suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the collision and was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in stable condition. The teen's name has not been released.

The Galloway Township Police Department Traffic Unit continues to look into what led up to the wreck.
